Now this is snow! I am now the official "snow chaser" because everytime it snows (or sleets) I am the first to notice it through the window. It's been getting gradually colder here and today was suppose to be a maximum of 4 with a minimum of -1 so snow was in order!

Enjoying the snow in our pj's :)

The aftermath

The girls out to celebrate Beth's hen's night

Cheers! it was a great night and the strippers were good too, I'm not putting those photo's up though ;)

The cheeky little squirrel that likes eating the flowers in our courtyard

The kitchen

Here's the view from my window at home, nice overcast day ;)

This is a really pretty restaurant that Janelle's friends took us to

Jazza and mwa at the restaurant in Oxford

The Oxford University church of St Mary

All aboard!

Our pretty white (wishful thinking!) christmas tree.

Our haul of pressies around the tree (good to see we are still loved even being over the other side of the world)

New year's eve in Edinbough, the lull before the storm

What's this, the Hogmanay festival is sponsered by Fosters! aussie invasion, it's official

The garden party stage where Blondie and Scissor Sisters rocked the foundations of the castle above

Blondie on stage at new years

Massive fireworks display as it struck 12

Orange! Orange! Orange!

Gold! Gold! Gold!

Black! Black! Black! (one for Scottie :)

Looking impressively sober!

New years day, 10:30pm (the first time we ventured out of the house after getting home from the street party at 6am!)

Not enough snow to make a snow man but I was still so happy to see snow for the first time

Jazza in the snow

Andy and Suzanna's (the people we stayed with in Edinburgh) christmas tree, now that's a tree

A view of Andy and Suzanna's place from the outside, we were actually sliding down the hill when taking that photo cause there was so much ice about

The view from the Sailsbury Crag's near Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh, you could ski on that lake (if it wasn't so damn cold!)

More a mud angle than a snow angle but hey, it's the closest thing to snow I've encountered (so far!)

Mwa posing for a photie on top of Sailsbury Crag, yep just a little chilly

This is where the Military Tattoo is held

Looking rather stylish in my new cap and scarf

Janelle samples the local delicacy of Haggis (it actually tastes good!)

Mulled wine mmmmmmm (i.e. hot spiced wine)

Ice skating ring below the castle in Edinburgh

A joker playing the Lute

I think this rounds Edinburgh up nicely a perfect combination with the old and new
